For me, Roberta’s image is about some kind of journey, probably the beginning, or rather the end of one. It is also about how the environment affects the way. I wanted to interpret the same idea but within an urban context, something that is very close to me, my usual field of observation.

A tree means something different in the city, usually subordinated to the built environment. I took this photo because I liked that here human intervention decided to accommodate that one single tree, avoiding it. I see it as a small act of kindness.
